Who would have thought that when James, Albus and Lily potter embarked on an adventure to see their Father’s past they’d actually be greeted with more than they bargained for? The answer was nobody. Being the children of the world renowned Harry Potter and Ginerva Weasley, they were said to be destined for greatness. Honestly this scared them. Growing up to hear all these tales of their Father’s triumphs only made them want to see it all for themselves by means of a time turner.
Taking the role of leader (being the oldest made him win by default much to Lily’s displeasure) James took on the task of the controlling the turner. Borrowing the very one used by their Aunt Hermione many years ago it could only be a formula for success. James began to twist the little dial. One, Lily called out. Two, followed Albus and finally Three from James. They huddled close ready for impact … but alas impact never came. Lily and Albus purely shrugged it off as something that was not meant to be. However James was a different tale entirely. He hated being compared to his Father and wanted to know what was so damn great about him and why he should be so proud. Anger spread through his veins like wild fire as his hand flew forward throwing the time turner high into the air.
The time turner moved in slow motion until it hit the ground with such force that it shattered into a million tiny pieces. Light surrounded them as if time itself seemed to seize, molecules became visible in the air and movement was non-existent. In a moment of utter chaos, the room suddenly span out of control and the light got brighter and brighter until a sudden screech was heard, settling the room and rendering the three unconscious until the following morning, in which a statement was issued by the ministry of magic.
“A unexplainable time event has seen a change in the wizarding world this morning. A consequence of this bridge of time is a collision of eras. Riddle, Marauders, Trio, Present (future) and Future Two together in one place. When students return to hogwarts tomorrow they will not only be seeing their friends, lovers and enemies but their family and children. At this time there is nothing we as the ministry can do so everyone is just going to have to deal. Until further news is at hand we bid everyone a good day and hope some blossoming new relationships can begin. ”
Several eras in one place is unthinkable but yet here it is and little does anyone know the time gap could be irreversible. Everybody has a past and future but the rest is still UNWRITTEN!?
