Post by Headmaster Gavin Orson DeLange on Dec 4, 2009 17:57:07 GMT 1
It was just a quiet evening, the students chattering while they were at dinner. The Headmaster sat in his chair, overseeing the students, smiling as he conversed casually with his fellow staff. No one expected the swift attack on the school, after all, it was supposedly protected. The whole school was enchanted, many spells having been cast that were supposedly unpenetrable. Except tonight, for some mysterious reason, they weren't.
It all started with a big BANG, part of the wall near the Slytherin table being blasted away, and soon afterwards people came streaming in. Wearing masks, similar to Death Eaters in the past. A few of them went straight towards the door, while others began firing spells in every direction, seemingly not caring who they would end up hitting. Jets of red and green shot through the air as the Professors got up from their tables, trying to get the students safely out of the hall or retaliate to what was happening.
Things didn't take long. Ten minutes, to be exact, and precisely when the clock struck, the masked people disappeared on the spot, leaving only the ruins of the once safe Great Hall. Bodies were scattered on the floor, people crying for help, searching for their loved ones.

No one had expected for something as disastrous as this to happen. That much was clear when all hell broke lose. Just mere minutes before the school changed into a complete warzone, Reese had been claiming a spot on Nathan’s lap at the Slytherin table. The rules about how you needed to stick to your own table where not rules Reese took very seriously. Nathan was much more comfortable to sit with and on for that matter. Of course, as to not bruise his ego and such she’d only plopped down for a quick minute to kiss his cheek and slip a small piece of parchment into his pocket. On it was an invitation to meet up later.
But the importance of that invitation was swept away along with the larger part of the wall near the slytherin table. A scream left her lips and she ducked away, wrapping her arms tightly around Nathan in a reflex during the blast. Instinctively Reese turned her face away from the point of impact and shielded Nathan from it with her upper body. Wood and bricks were flying everywhere and for a moment there was one split second of pure silence before everyone started to realize something was very wrong.
As dust started to settle, Reese’s head jerked back to see what was going on. Her eyes instantly widened when the larger part of their table was nothing but mere saw dust. The only small piece that was left was the part they were sitting at. “Oh my God…” the words left her lips in a whisper when it became clear that there were people lying on the floor who did not seem to be moving anymore. In a daze she slipped off Nathan’s lap but turned to look at him first, “Baby are you okay?” her very first concern to be Nathan’s state of health.
Through all the madness of people running around, screaming and crying, Reese’s mind filled itself with all the memories and the feeling of uselessness from when she’d held Jake’s death body in her arms. For a moment she just zoned out, stared at nothing in particular, as spells flew all around them and people brushed passed her in panic. She was taken back to the moment when everything around them had been pure madness, like it was now, and when Jake had jumped in front of her to gave his life to safe hers.
It wasn’t until a dark figure doomed up from the mist that was settling dust and raised a wand in their direction that she suddenly snapped out of it. “No!” she suddenly cried out and moved without thinking about it in front of Nathan. The idea of picking up her wand and duel didn’t even register in her mind. The only thing that raced around in her head was ‘protect Nathan’. Which was exactly what she did when a red beam was blasted from the attackers wand.
She had failed to safe Jake. She would NOT let the same thing happen to Nathan.
All was decided and done within mere seconds. And it took only a fraction of moment for the beam to hit Reese in the chest. The force behind the spell threw her off her feet and over the remains of the slytherin table. Several feet further she crashed onto the huffle table, slid over the table –taking a bunch of empty plates, globlets and cutlery with her-to only disappear on the other end of it, landing on the cold hard stone floor. A soft groan was all that left her lips before the world turned dark all around her.

If he'd known what was going to happen he probably wouldnt have bothered getting out of bed that morning to go through his day and end up in the Hall of Impending Doom. Still, he was sat in a comfy position across from Ryan, his best friend who knew basically every little detail of Nathan's life, and his girl sat on his knee. By now, people had gotten used to having Reese around, they barely batted an eyelash at her in the common room anymore. His arm was around her back, making sure she didnt fall, his other hand was clasped tightly around the goblet of pumpkin juice. He gave Ryan the look, the look that said 'yeah I know I have the hottest girl in the school... and what?'
He was about to say something to Reese, but what happened next seemed to go in slow motion. Reese threw herself over him creating a somewhat protective field around him. But he moved his face to look at what was going on. The wall not too far from them had been blasted apart, dust and debris flew everywhere. His arms ended up bloody because of sharp rocks flying over them, his face became blackened and cut too but nothing life threatening. He stood up, moving Reese off him and looking around slightly dazed. "I'm fine babe." He smiled, though it was confused and strained. "Are you alright? Not hurt are you?" He turned his face to scan the hall, screaming was going on, crying and Nate's eyes wandered to find Gray and Mickey to make sure they were fine.
"No!"
He heard her cry, turning, he saw her throw herself infront of an oncoming spell, heading right for Nate. He had no time to react to it but it hit Reese square in the chest. He turned quickly to check on her, she was alright, breathing at least. "Look after her!" He commanded, drawing his wand with a menacing growl and running after the bastard who hurt Reese. He raised his wand and brought it down in a fluid movement, managing to slice through the person's robes, as well as cause some nice damage. But he wasnt able to celebrate long as a curse hit him in the back. Causing him to fall forward. The man he was attacking used another curse on Nate, causing his shoulder to split and the side of his face. Blood flowed but it wasnt anything that couldnt heal, besides he was a werewolf, he healed quickly.
Getting back to his feet he went to cast another spell but missed as the people in masks dissapeared. His spell hit the wall, causing more debris to fly off. He stood for a moment, confused before running back to Reese and pulling her up to his chest, cradling her in his arms. His ice blue eyes staring down at her. "Dont ever put yourself in front of me like that again. It was stupid you could have been killed!" It was obvious he was worried about her as he stroked her hair. Blood still running over his robes but his only concern was Reese right now. He propped her up, using his weight to support her as he looked around for Gray, Mickey and Ryan. "What the hell just happened?"

Tom was eating his food barely paying attention to the other tables in the great hall. He was talking with his friends in between bites of food. He was currently trying to defend his honor, concerning a stupid rumour his best friend had started. He was laughing and joking, teasing his friend back when he heard the loud bang. He heard it more then felt it, but when he looked up the wall nearest the Slytherin table wasn't there. There was a huge cloud of dust as many people in masks similar to the old death eater masks.
Tom's first thought was to find Missy. She had to be near the blast as she was in Slytherin. He stood up at the table as people rushed around him. He looked down the Slytherin table trying to find the face of his cousin. "Shit." he said as he couldn't find her. He jumped on top of the table to try and see better. He still couldn't see the girl. He jumped down between the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw tables. He was almost pushed over in people's rush to leave the Great Hall. He quickly jumped on the Ravenclaw table before dropping to his knees as he dodged a spell.
He was closer to the Slytherin table, but there was still the Hufflepuff table between him and his search for his cousin. He pulled out his wand and aimed at one of the masked men. He shot off stunning spells, but in the rush to get across the room he wasn't aiming quiet right. As he was about to roll over the Hufflepuff table he saw Reese coming flying across the table, have been hit by a flying spell. He saw her land on the ground and that she was knocked out. Then he heard Nathan shout "Look after her!" He started running against the crowd of fleeing people to get to the unconscious girl.
Tom was split. He wanted to continue looking for his cousin, but he couldn't let Reese be trampled. As he drew near he checked her pulse to make sure she was still alive before picking her up and resting her on the bench. Hopefully she'll be safe there. He looked up and saw Ashleigh running towards them, "Ashleigh, come look after her until I or Nathan comes to check on her." Then he rolled over the table. As he landed on the other side he started firing more hexes at the enemies. Then as soon as it had started, it had ended. They'd left. He looked back at Ashleigh protecting Reese before he saw Nathan run up to them and pull the unconscious girl into his arms.
Tom turned back the people lying on the ground, having been knocked out from the blast. He looked across the table at the side closet to the blast. He saw Missy lying on the ground. "Missy!" He quickly jumped over the table before checking her vitals. He could feel her heartbeat slowly beat under his finger before he pulled her into his lap. Looking around at the mess that was once the Great Hall, Tom couldn't help think what many were thinking, 'What the hell just happened?"

What the hell HAD happened? Harriet asked herself that exact same question as she pushed herself up to her elbows and took a quick look at her surroundings. She'd been sitting and loudly discussing anything that had happened with whichever Gryffidor would listen, occasionally taking bites of food in between sentences and smiles. Every now and again, she had been glancing over her shoulder, trying to find Danny at the Hufflepuff table. He'd been in such a strange mood recently that she'd taken it upon herself to look after the boy, make sure he'd been eating and generally surviving. Her attempts to spot his face had been fruitless, and she'd just turned back for the tenth time that night when the loud noise sent everyone screaming.
The black-haired girl had jumped to her feet out of shock, before her instinct took over, telling her to save one of the people she cared for at least. Seeing as Bryn was a big boy and could take care of himself, logic cancelled the choice down to Danny or Julie. The latter was the one she caught sight of first, and before she could think, her body was already clambering over the tables to get her to the blonde girl, reaching her sister in no time. Jumping off the table to tackle the girl to the ground, however, proved to be more than her body could take, and the last thing she could remember is a horrifying crunching sound and a large amount of pain, as her leg gave out under her and she fell to the ground, pulling Juliette down with her.
She must have blacked out, just for a little while, because she'd woken up and the pain had returned to her with a renewed strength. Wincing, she pushed herself up slightly and checked herself over. Other than the bad leg, she seemed to be unharmed. Juliette, however, wasn't moving, her eyes were closed, but she was still breathing. Cursing quietly to herself, Harriet glanced around for someone to help, but upon seeing no one who was in a fit enough state to aid her, she assumed it was down to her. She made an attempt to get up, which went fine until it required putting weight on her rather jaunty-looking leg. Any sort of pressure on it made her whimper in pain and crumple to the floor again. ”Oh holy crap.” The Gryffindor hissed to herself, before glancing around her and making a desperate attempt to attract attention. She couldn't see a single person from this level, and she doubted anyone could see her either, so she raised her voice. ”Hello? Is there... Someone help?” [/color][/blockquote]

At first Rose couldn't believe it was happening. After all, Hogwarts was supposed to be the most protected building in Britain. So what happened? Everything was so normal, so happy, and at first the wall blasting apart and the people streaming in didn't quite register to Rose. It wasn't until a masked man pointed his wand toward her that she stirred. Just managing to dodge the spell, Rose felt the table she was just sitting at explode behind her, littering her in broken glass jugs, chunks of splintered wood and smashed plates. Landing on the floor heavily, Rose knew that something pierced her back, and she groaned in pain, trying to get out of the way of the running crowd.
But someone must have accidentally hit her, because she felt a sharp impact on her head before the world around her became dull and distorted, her vision blackening slightly. Rose only managed to pull herself out of the way of the trampling crowd by crawling under the table where she quickly, or at least as quick as she could, spun back around, extracting her wand.
From her position it was hard to see whose feet belonged to whose, and Rose was unwillingly to cast a spell in case it hit the wrong person, and anyway, she didn't trust her vision at the moment which was thankfully returning to normal slowly. So Rose didn't move until suddenly it seemed everything was quieter and people stilled. Emerging from the table, Rose straightened up to find the attackers gone. Wincing, Rose rubbed her back and felt that it had been cut in different places, but they were only small, and she wasn't bleeding heavily. Still, she was sure there was some glass in there.
It was then when the full impact hit her. Suddenly, Rose swung her head round, looking for her family and friends. She dashed toward across the hall blindly, in so particular direction, eager to find them, but stalled when she heard a voice calling. Pushing through the debris, Rose found a girl she knew as Harriet leaning over a girl Rose thought was her sister. "Hey," Rose whispered hoarsely when to reached them, answering the girl's help. Tucking her once radiant hair behind her ears, Rose crouched down and instantly knew there really wasn't anything she could do. So Rose stood up again painfully and looked around the room, looking for some help. But it appeared everyone needed some help

Bryn was laughing at something Bayne was saying while Brooke was in a deep conversation with Luke. It was good, the four of them together again with no kind of tension. The last few weeks had been bad, Bryn had stood beside Brooke but he'd missed his best friend Luke. Bayne on the other hand had been torn in the middle, unsure of what he should do. Bayne and Luke were together now and Bryn couldnt remember seeing a happier couple, that was until he looked across at Harriet and realised he too, was in the mushy smiles club. Brooke was forever taking the mickey out of them but it didnt matter, they were happy and that was all that counted.
Bryn couldnt help laughing when Luke spoke about something that had happened, Brooke almost chocked on her drink and flicked a piece of sausage at him which made him laugh even harder. The four of them were blissfully unaware of what was going to happen. That was until a loud bang, followed by a crack and a sound which sounded like something falling down happened. Dust flew everywhere and Bryn's first instinct was to sheild his sister. Diving on her he pushed her under the table for a moment before getting up, seeing Bayne protecting Luke with his own body. "Is everyone alright?" He asked, Brooke just nodded, her eyes confused. Bayne had his eyes narrowed looking around him at the people in masks.
Spells began to fly everywhere, each of them took off on their own going in different directions, but not one was leaving the hall. Bryn was running over the table throwing any and every hex he could think of. What he wouldnt give for his beaters bat right now. He was worried, he couldnt see Harriet. He knew she could take care of herself but that didnt stop him worrying. "Harri! Where are you?" He called over the noise. He saw someone on the floor, she seemed to be awake but right now not moving and so Bryn positioned himself near her so nobody would trample her. He knew her to be called Rose, another Weasley he was sure of it but it didnt matter, if she stayed down there someone would walk, run or kick her accidentally, so Bryn stayed near her and people ran around him, missing Rose entirely. Once she was up and on her feet, Bryn left again. The masked creeps had gone, but Bryn didnt put his wand away. The hell is going on? Blood had been pouring down his face, multiple spells had managed to catch him. His robes were torn and his vision was a pinky red colour. Brooke seemed to be looking for Luke and Bayne, neither of which he could see. He couldnt see Reese either, but he knew she'd be alright, if ever there was a fighter it was her.
He turned his head this way and that before he spotted the dark hair of Harriet nearer to the ground than it should be. His heart leapt into his throat, worried she was hurt he ran to her, jumping over broken stuff and came to a skidding halt beside her. Rose was also with her, as was Harri's sister... but it was Harri's sister that was injured. "She needs the nurse." Bryn spoke, looking around but the nurse hadnt come down today. "Come on, I'll carry her."

Total darkness.
Reese was out of it the moment she landed on the messy and bloody stone floor. The screams went away and the hot bolt of pain in her chest vanished when her old friend, darkness, came back for her. Whatever happened in the few minutes after the attack first started went past her while she was looked after by her class mates. She didn’t notice being lifted from the floor and onto the bench. She didn’t hear the worried voices of the people trying to wake her up.
It wasn’t until shortly after the hooded attackers had disappeared again that Reese started to show signs of actually being alive. Her eyes started to flutter open while her hand twitched but before she could even start to comprehend what the hell was going on she was pulled into someone’s arms. Reese’s head fall back against someone’s shoulder as the rest of her body still remained to lay limp on the bench. Two strong arms wrapped themselves around her waist and she could feel something warm and wet starting to drip down the side of her face.
Then suddenly out of the blue she let out a cry and gasped for air when it all came back to her. A tightness formed in her chest as if she’d just been walked upon by dozens of people. Panic raised inside of her, formed in her eyes and for a brief moment Reese made a faint attempt to struggle free from whoever was holding her. Right until she met the icy blue eyes she loved so much and heard the voice of the person she’d dreamed about at night.
Nathan. Nathan was here.
“Nate…” she whispered his name, winching as she tried to tilt her head back some more to look at him but wasn’t able to due to bolts of pain shooting through her neck. But that didn’t matter. None of it did. He was alive. And in one piece. “I’m okay, it’s okay. We’re both still here.” Thank God. Although she wasn’t very aware of the current state she was in other than that she wasn’t able to move much right now. Cuts and bruises covered her face, chest and her stomach. Which were now visible now that her shirt was partially ripped apart. Yet, most of it she simply didn’t feel cause of all the adrenaline still pumping through her veins. “You’re hurt!” she suddenly cried again when blood splashed from the side of his face onto her cheek. Reese raised a shaky hand and tried to touch his cheek as tears started to form in her eyes.
People were running past them in various states of panic, blood seemed to be laying everywhere while professors ran from student to student to check on them. “I’m sorry…I just…I couldn’t let you….not again. Just not again.” What happened to Jake could not happen to Nathan. Reese wasn’t, again, aware of how her words were probably not making much sense to Nathan considering he didn’t know about Jake. Only Graham did.
Oh fuck. Graham!
Reese’s eyes suddenly widened. “Graham! Where’s my brother?! Nathan where’s my brother?!”

Gray felt almost guilty when his eyes flickered towards Mickey first of all, before he could even get up from his seat. He knew that there were people who needed him more, but this whole ordeal had started because he wanted his the Hufflepuff to be safe. When his eyes landed on him, they softened for a moment, before he gritted his teeth and turned towards Nate. Reese had been sitting with him, and he needed to know that the both of them were safe.
Just as he looked over, she came crashing into the Huffle table, and soon after Nate came running after her, cradling her into his arms. His eyes met Ryans, who had moved just as quickly as he had, glancing worriedly at Reese before crossing the hall in quick strides to check up on Jyn. Gray, meanwhile, managed to get to his sisters side just as she called out for him.
"Sshh, I'm here angel, it's alright" He brushed a hand through her hair, eyes locking with Nate for a moment. He knew that what she was saying wouldn't make sense to him, but he couldn't care to explain at the moment. First he needed to know that she was alright. "Are you alright?" He asked the both of them, eyes pleading with Nate to check up on Mickey. The boy had seemed alright from what he'd seen, but he couldn't comfort him. Wasn't allowed to.

“Ryan!!” Jyn screamed her fiancée’s name as she ran towards the pile of dust that used to be half the Slytherin table. Debris was laying everywhere, benches were turned and the floor was at some parts slippery from blood. Pushing people aside and dodging people who were running around as she currently was, Jyn crossed half the room in a matter of seconds. She knew Ryan had been sitting at the Slytherin table as she’d waved at him earlier.
He had to be there. He just had to be okay. And all Jyn could think about was that he might be laying somewhere in pain. That thought was almost too much to handle and no matter how stupid it was too run right into the point of impact, Jyn just had to check. Had to make sure he was not hurt.
Only when she got there, there was no Ryan. “Ryan!” she called out again but got thrown against the floor when a hooded figure ran past her, chasing one of the professors. Jyn was about to push herself up again when she suddenly froze. As a large chunk of the wall had come down up ahead, it seemed that apparently not everyone managed to get away in time. From underneath the debris Jyn saw a brunette head stick out. Dark hair was framing the guys face –it was obviously a guy, that much she could tell, but it was hard to tell who it was.
For a moment Jyn just stared at the guy, feeling a tightening feeling in her chest. “No…” she softly said, “no…” shaking her head in disbelief Jyn scrambled back up to her feet. “No!! Ryan, please no!” Tears sprang from her eyes as she ran towards the –what seemed to be- lifeless body of Ryan. She fell on her knees and tried to brush the hair from his face but everything was one big bloody mess. Everything was red and the face of the guy looked like that of anyone brunette guy covered in blood.
He was dead. Ryan was dead.
Convinced that the guy laying there was Ryan, Jyn pushed herself backwards a little. Bringing shaking hands up to her face she started to cry. “Ryan! No can’t you be dead. Oh God…RYAN!” she hysterically screamed out his name and let her bloody hands fall into her lap as she just sat there, crying loudly while people kept running all around her. There was no point in getting up.
Ryan was dead….

There was only one person on his mind as the room cleared of those masked men. Harriet. She was the only person he cared about, if only because he was pretty damn sure Oliver wasn't at the dinner table - and for once he was viciously thankful that the brunette didn't eat. He'd jumped up, running towards the Slytherin table as he was sure her thoughts had been on one person only - her sister Juliette. Nearly slipping as his foot caught a puddle of blood, he tried not to look at the bodies on the floor, focusing instead on where he'd seen her disappear.
There were other people that potentially needed his help, Brooke and Bryn, but they had each other. Brooke had Luke now, thankfully they'd made up, and there was also Bayne who would do anything to protect the blonde. He was fairly certain that they were safe, but there was Harri who'd run into the whole scene as if nothing mattered, so of course he followed. Hell, he'd follow her anywhere.
"Harri!" He nearly fell over the table, kneeling next to her as Bryn talked about getting Julie to the Nurse. He didn't think there was anyone who wouldn't want to take their loved ones to the nurse, and he was hoping there were people more adept at healing spells than he was. "God, Harri! You're alright!" He held back the urge to tackle her, as she looked to be in pain, and instead leaned in carefully to hug her. "Can you stand?"

He was at the Ravenclaw table, frantically searching for Jyn when he heard her voice from the other side of the Great Hall. What was she...His eyes narrowed, scanning the room only to find her blonde head kneeled next to what had been a part of the Slytherin table. She was looking for him! And, by the look on her face, the sobs that wrecked her system, she thought she'd found him. For a second or so, Ryan just stood there, in the middle of the debris and blood, of the screams and cries for help, he just stood there motionless.
She was mourning. She was convinced that he'd died and instead of being relieved, instead of being happy that their forced marriage had come to an end, she was crying over him.
She cared for him.
His heart went to do this odd little thing that he associated with sex, with being physically intimate, and he bit down on his lip as he resisted the urge to smile. Smiling was probably not the best thing to do now that the school had been under attack, especially since he was a Slytherin. Next thing he'd know, they'd think he had something to do with it!
The brunette rushed back past the tables, his eyes solely focused on the broken down beauty, and he didn't stop until he'd gathered her in his arms. They were wrapped tightly around her, one hand at her forehead, the other at her stomach as he kissed her cheek, whispering into her ear. "It's not me sweetie...It's not me." He just held her, rocking her gently, trying to stop the tremors that ran through her body.

This couldn’t be happening. Why was this happening?! Jyn didn’t understand. Everything seemed to be going alright for a change! They had gotten past the marriage scare and were actually bonding. She saw Ryan every day and it was no longer a secret –at least not to herself- that she was madly in love with him. He was on her mind all the time and he made her feel good about herself. Ryan was one of the few good things in her life and she couldn’t imagine for him not to be in her life anymore.
And now he wasn’t anymore.
Jyn couldn’t do anything other than just sit there and cry. She couldn’t bring herself to stand up and see if she could help out people who were in need of assistance. What was the point in that? Ryan was dead!!
Out of the blue two arms wrapped them around her body and in the next moment she was pressed up against someone. Still in shock of her awful discovery Jyn wasn’t aware of who was holding her. She simply slumped against the person in great grief. She turned her face into the strangers chest and started to claw against his shirt. Grabbing hands full of the fabric, not caring who it was who was holding her as long she didn’t have to see Ryan’s dead body anymore.
That was just too hard.
Her tiny body shook violently but froze the moment she heard Ryan’s voice. Gasping for air Jyn roughly pulled herself away from the tight embrace to only find herself to be staring in Ryan’s face. Confusion, relief, love. All emotions ran over her face in a matter of seconds before she placed her hands on either side of his face. “You’re alive…you’re not…” she stammered, to only immediately cover his face in loving sweet kisses. “I love you, so much.” The words had left her lips before she even noticed it. But it didn’t matter. It was simply the way she felt about him. Whether or not he loved her back.
Ending with a soft kiss on his lips, Jyn wrapped her arms around his neck in a tight hug. Presseing her body against his and holding on to him as if he was about to vanish. “Don’t ever be almost dead again, you hear me Ryan?! Don’t ever do that again.” Not that it was anything that could be blamed on him though.

Ryan was thrown from one emotion into the next. She loved him? That was. Well, it was amazing and terrifying at the same time. Ryan didn't think he'd ever had someone love him before, and to have it happening now meant that he'd have to step up his game a notch or two, if he were to make her happy. He wondered if that would include saying it back, but something held him back. Maybe it just wasn't the right place, or the right time, or either of those things, but right now he couldn't say it. It wasn't that he didn't care, because over the last couple of weeks, he had begun to see a side of her that he genuinely loved, but did that mean he loved her?
He held her close to him, letting her kiss his face and his lips as much as she wanted to, reassuring her that he was here, that he wasn't dead and that he wasn't going to end up leaving her. Because he was sure of that much..he wouldn't do that to her. Couldn't break her heart and leave her, not when she'd already once thought she lost him.
"I promise" He said it softly, holding up her beautiful face in his hands and placing a very soft kiss on her lips. "I'm not going anywhere, love. I'm here. And Merlin, I was so fucking scared something happened to you. Are you sure you're okay? You're not bleeding anywhere?" He had a small tear in his shoulder, one that was bleeding quite a lot, but at the moment he couldn't care past the fact that he was holding a girl who had just given her heart to him.

Harriet had just started to panic - What if no one had heard her? They were royally screwed, she couldn't walk and Juliette... She didn't know what had happened to her, but she was certainly totally incapacitated, and she definitely needed to get to a nurse. Just as the Gryffindor started to formulate an elaborate, probably painful and definitely ungraceful plan about how to pull Juliette along whilst crawling her way to the Hospital Wing, she heard a voice. With a pained smile, she looked up at the girl she faintly recognised as Rose Weasley "Hey," Pausing for a moment, she studied the girl, then frowned. "Are you okay?"
Minutes later, she was distracted by the arrival of her two boys, one after another. First, her face brightened as Bryn skidded up to her, like some sort of stunning, muggle hero. "Bryn!" Harriet announced, sounding slightly cheerful. Thank God he was alright! Had she focused long enough to see what a state he was in, she probably wouldn't have felt so happy about it. Her attention was, however, drawn elsewhere, to the arms that had (very gently) wrapped around her. Shifting uncomfortably, she turned to see their owners, and grinned again when she saw Danny. She would have jumped on him, if moving didn't cripple her with pain. "I've definitely been better, babe, but I'm alive at least." She answered the blonde with a slight laugh. As she spoke, her hands brushed the hair out of Juliette's face without thinking about it. "And, uhh, no. I tried getting up. It had a painful conclusion."
Having dealt with her best friend, and satisfied herself that he was totally fine and completely uninjured, the petite girl turned back to her boyfriend. "Bryn! I'm so glad you're..." Her face drained of colour as she registered his appearance. He looked so awful, and she felt sick, with worry and guilt. She knew, she just knew the moment she left him that she shouldn't have. Once again, she started to worry, this time about her fellow beater. "Sweetie, you're bleeding. Come here, a-are you okay? You look hurt. What happened? Did you get hit by something?"
