How do you treat your friends:
Shane often spends her time alone as she’s not the people person. She doesn’t have many friends mainly because she has huge trust issues. Becoming a friend of Shane is hard but when you can call yourself that she will have your back for life. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her friends but she expects the same thing in return. Loyalty is important to her so when that loyalty will be betrayed you will never be able to restore it nor will she ever place her trust in you again.
How do you treat your enemies:
Shane has no problem kicking her enemies ass. Backstabbing them is also no big deal for her if she feels they deserve to be treated that way. Hostility is common with her and if you are her enemy you either stay the hell away or make sure you watch your back at all times.

Even though Hogwarts became her new home Shane stayed the rebellious girl she had grown up to be. Causing trouble here and there and not being too happy with the authority that were upheld within the castle she is known as quite the troublemaker. When you say go left Shane goes right even as she hates rules and rather lives by her own.
. A troublemaker is what she is and if she doesn’t cause trouble on her own that she will mostly likely be sucked into it due to someone else. Authority is definitely not something she values a lot and she surely has no respect for anything that is law-related. The system doesn’t work and she is living proof of that so why bother to stick to the rules when breaking them is so much easier and a hell of a lot more fun?
Growing up on the streets she has been blessed or cursed, depends whether she likes you or not, with a big mouth. As she has seen what drugs have done to her mother Shane has a huge dislike of them. Coke, heroin, xtc, to her it is all the same and she doesn’t want to have anything to do with them. In contrast she is hooked on cigarettes and alcohol. Perhaps not as bad as drugs but they seem to do a lot of damage on their own as well.

How Did You Come To Be/Childhood:
Shane had the childhood no parent would want for their child unless you were talking about mr. and mrs. Brennan. When they had been in their teens, one night they had been less careful than usual and 9 months later Shane was set upon this world. Growing up in a poor neighbourhood Shane did not have a warm and loving home other kids had at her age. No, Shane would rather spend her time out of the house than in it.
Throughout her whole life she had to hear she had been an accident and that she should be grateful to be alive. If her parents would have had a choice in the matter she would not have been around at all. No, Shane Brennan did certainly not grow up in a loving and warm family. Her dad worked whenever he felt like it which wasn’t often leading them to not having much money to pay the bills or buy food. Toys for Shane were out of the question as those were seen as a waste of money. Those ‘hard earned’ pounds were mostly spend on either alcohol for her dad who was an alcoholic or drugs for her mom who clearly was a drug addict. Her mom did not work at all basically because she mostly were to high to even remember she had a daughter.
When she hit puberty, in her case being very young of age when that happened, her dad started to show an interest in her. A kind of interest no father should ever have in his daughter but for Shane this would grow to become something on a regular basis. Her dad being drunk often meant trouble as that lead to him hitting her for being to loud or just present in a room, even when she sat silently in the corner of it. Shane did not have a mom who dried her tears or a dad that would protect her from the hard world. No what Shane did have was a mother who told her she wasn’t worth shit and a dad who abused her mentally, physically and sexually.
So Shane found herself growing up on the streets while hanging with the wrong crowds. She formed a gang with her friends who she considered her true family and became a rebellious girl who tried to rebel against anything that would be called authority. Trying to break free from the world she was caught in. Stealing, trashing government property , getting drunk and having gang fights were activities that happened on a daily basis.
Coming To Hogwarts:
The day that the letter from Hogwarts arrived her parents couldn’t be more happy and immediately send their daughter away. At first Shane had been having trouble adjusting to this new way of life as she missed her gang family but at the same time she couldn’t be more happy. Hogwarts was giving her a way out of the hell hole that was called home back in London.
What do you want to do after Hogwarts:
Shane just hopes to survive as long as she can. She has no idea what to expect when she graduates and she knows not to have her hopes up for a happy ending. Life doesn’t work that way.
