A basic fling (past) might be too easy for ol' Danny. For the most part, Ciaran tries to steer clear of fleeting sex-fests. Then again, he's human and very fallible, telling himself one thing while being drawn to do something else. Maybe Danny found some way to get on Ciaran's nerves? Doing something with someone Ciaran was interested in, maybe actually being involved briefly only to have poor Ciaran realize Danny is… well a whore.

Oooh, I like the idea of them being involved. Maybe, shortly after his mum died, Danny and Ciarán had a bit of an affair, but eventually Danny realised that he didn't really believe in love and cut it off, only to be hanging out with other boys shortly after?
