Alandra is very independent and very stubborn, so while she does appreciate her friends, she tends to push them away a lot when they try to help her with something, and she she does need something she can be pretty manipulative. Because of this, she isn't able to keep a lot of close friends.

If Alandra has a problem with you, she'll let you know. She's rather short-tempered, but she never gets violent. The most she's ever done is yell in someones face.

Alandra likes to be challenged, so the more she's challenged the harder she'll work. However, the minute things get easy for her, or if she gets bored, she'll just stop trying. She get's in a lot of trouble in History of Magic, since it can be rather boring, and she occasionally get's told off in Charms. She likes to see Outstandings on assignments though, (who doesn't?) so she always will do her homework before anything else.
What is your preferred House:
So I'm hoping for her to be in Slytherin. Some of of her traits match Slytherin, but mostly I want her to be in Slytherin because of her history; her dislike for her dad, and how he was a death eater, and how everyone in her family were in Slytherin. And if she was in Slytherin, she'd really want to break the stereotype that 'all slytherins are nasty, and always turn out to be dark wizards'. Read history for more understanding.

How Did You Come To Be/Childhood:
After the Lord Voldemort fell to the hands of Harry Potter, Hugh Carr immediately went into hiding. He had been to Azkaban before, and there was no way in hell he was going back there with those ruddy dementors. He moved to a small village in the middle of no where and lived there alone for several years. When he felt it was finally safe for him to venture back into the wizarding world, he moved to a small wizarding village in Abington, Oxforshire. There he met Antoinetta Kingston, a beautiful witch who had a love for magical creatures.
Love blinded Antoinetta from the truth about Hugh; that he was still a dark wizard. They had a small wedding, consisting of Hugh's old 'friends' and Antoinetta's only living relative: her mother. Antoinetta moved into Hugh's house, and on September 23, 2005 had a little baby girl whom they named Alandra.
Hugh never found a job, nor did he need to. He had enough gold from his death eater days, and if Antoinetta didn't enjoy her job so much, she wouldn't have to work either. Alandra was raised with the idea that muggles, muggle-borns and half-bloods were all dirt. Her first and only friend till hogwarts lasted about a week. He was a half-blood, and when her father found out, he packed up and moved his family to a place where many of his old friends lived in London. It was a street well-hidden from muggles, and most living there were pure-bloods. Alandra was 8 at the time, and she began to wonder who her father really was.
Alandra's veiw of her dad increasingly became worse and worse. He began to invite his old friends over to the house, and the things he would say shocked Alandra. She began to change everything in her lifestyle that related to her father. All the gifts he ever gave her she stuffed in a closet, and she spent more and more time at her uncles. She vowed that when she entered Hogwarts, she would never be in Slytherin like her father. But there were somethings that Alandra just couldn't change. The idea of pure-blooded witches and wizards being the best had been drilled into her brain so much, that self-consciously she's a little prejudice toward muggle-borns and half-bloods.
Coming To Hogwarts:
Going to Hogwarts was a bit daunting for Alandra, the only wizard she had ever met her age was the half-blood boy whom she was only friends with for a week. She was nervous, but also very excited. She would be one step closer to becoming an animagus, and she would be away from her dad for a long time. At first, she felt a little lost in the big school, as most first years do. But now she feels quite comfortable, like it's her second home.
What do you want to do after Hogwarts:
Alandra has no idea what she wants to as a career after Hogwarts. She does know, however, that as soon as her 7th year ends, she'll pursue becoming an animagus. She thinks that a job working in the Department of Control and Regulation of Magical Creatures would be fun, but really she has no idea.

"Hufflepuff!" Shouts and applause erupted from one of the tables, while the rest clapped with monotone. The frail boy smiled weakly and scurried over to sit at his designated table.
"Yohana Avery."
Alandra's eyes darted every which way, to the ceiling, the sorting hat, the Slytherin Table, the sorting hat. She felt light headed, and dread was slowly forming in her heart. What if she was sorted into Hufflepuff? Even worse, Slytherin. By the looks of other first years faces, they were having similar anxiety.
"Dani Burn" A tall blonde strode quickly up the hat, a confident smile on her face. The hat barely touch her head before shouting,
"Gryffindor!" The girl beamed and ran to the loudest of the tables, where she was welcomed with smiles and hand shakes.
"Alandra Carr" The room grew silent once more. Alandra heart beat loudly, and she walked slowly up to the hat. It felt to her, like the room was getting smaller and smaller. The hat was placed on her head and was so big it almost covered her eyes. Several seconds passed, and not a word. Alandra's face grew red, and a million thoughts ran through her head. What if she was the only person to not be able to be sorted? Maybe she had no magical ability and she would have to go home. What if she broke the hat? Then suddenly, clear and calm like before, the hat sang,

The Slytherin table cheered, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw clapped the quietest of claps, most Gryffindor's didn't clapped. Alandra felt numb as she walked toward the Slytherin table. She blindly shook hands, and smiled softly at her house members. Her fathers face burned into her mind, and then and there Alandra decided that she would break the stereotype. She would be the Slytherin that was never rude to other houses, and that cared more about friends then whether or not your ancestors were pure-blooded.
