The course allowed her to meet, in the Forbidden Forest, Centaurs, with who she had a lot of philosophical conversations. In the other hand, she hates potions, mainly because of the required harshness.

Alex is an attentive and studious student, and more interesting since she has chosen her current course. She is able to give an efficient work, alone or with other people. And she is never late at her homework.

How Did You Come To Be/Childhood:
Alex’s father, Alexander, was a powerful Russian wizard. He was a famous philosopher in his native country, and had to travel around the world, to give conferences or course, mainly about Hegel. He had sworn to remain single, due to his vision of love. It was underestimating the chance. He met Alex’s mother, Elizabeth, a French writer and journalist, in Paris, during a colloquy on Heidegger, gathering the most brilliant spirits of the 21st century. They learnt how to know each other, little by little, and Elizabeth managed to break Alexander’s shield and convictions against love, despite their different languages. She pushed him to sound himself about this strange feeling called love. He learnt things he wouldn’t even read in Sartre or Madinier (both French philosophers). They got married and Elizabeth gave birth to Aleksandra the next year. However, the power and the wisdom of the Russian wizard aroused cupidity. Members of a magic sect killed the philosopher at home, and Elizabeth saved in extremis her daughter and her husband’s huge manuscript, at first sight a new version of the Introduction to the Lecture of Hegel, but something much more interesting actually. She returned to France, where she thought she would find a shelter. Worrying about her child, she left her in front of an old monastery, kept by monk-warriors, with the unachieved book.
Alex was raised by those men. They were actually one of the oldest prieurés (priory) of Western Europe. They were the keepers of a very ancient form of magic. She learnt also many other things, but was keeping ignorant about what happened to her parents. She got another name, a French one, Jeanne D’Alençon. She became passionately fond of philosophy and literature, French, Russian and German. But she was alone in a male world, fact that could explain her sexual orientation and her current personality. She left them when she had to get a deeper knowledge of magic, to understand what happened to her parents and how she could revenge them. She was 13.
Coming To Hogwarts:
Alex, during those years, was fully integrated to this school. It was quite hard, because she had always been alone. Friendship was not a priority for her, until she discovered what it really was. This was not a traumatic experience, and she learnt what love is in the Hogwarts’ walls. She enjoyed (and still is) to learn a lot of different things. Being in this school was a path to the serenity, as if she was at least able to exorcise her old demons. She became brilliant, and with the astonishing development of her skills, the conviction she would honored her family. Alexandra entered the room. It was late in the day, and the darkness was already fallen. She sighed and left her coat on the table. Alone. Once again. She sat on her bed, a sad light in her eyes. Why are we here? Why are we fighting? Does it even worth it? These questions became familiar, these last months. The sense of her existence seemed to be already defined, despite all she could have read in Sartre, about the fact that people were free to choice. Les hommes sont condamnés à être libres, as he said in Paris, years ago.
She wanted to protest against that. Because she was feeling every day the hand of fate on her thin shoulder. As if there was a cosmic plan, somewhere over her. Coincidences, chance, she couldn’t really defined what it was. A déjà-vu impression.
Hunt her ghosts. This new goal was more and more attractive to her. She wished now to be free. To forget about them. Her father. Her Mother. She was immediately ashamed by her thoughts. Actually, her father wasn’t dead for her or for her mother. But he was killed because of the stupidity of the mankind. He shared his blood and his name with the young woman. This was a sufficient reason to fight and not to forget his name.

Personal note : Hey everybody! As you could notice, my English is not that good. I’m actually French, from Normandy to be exact. I’m following a year of Hypokhâgne, which is a literary course.
