-OUTFIT-, imagine it with her wearing a pair of sneakersNow, Reese didn’t truly disliked her uniform robes but you couldn’t really say she would wear them if they weren’t mandatory either. They were boring, too black and if you wore something every day than eventually you’d get fed up with it at some point. Which is why Reese tried to avoid wearing them as much as she could. Like on Sundays, when there were no classes she’d ditch her robes and everything that came with it in her dorm and dress 100% muggle. Which was in her opinion, much and much better. From her seventh till her twelfth birthday she’d lived like a muggle –perhaps also before that but that was something she couldn’t remember- so Reese didn’t know better than to wear muggle things, like muggle things and do muggle things. As it was a Sunday morning, Reese had slept in late and skipped breakfast. After doing some reading in bed, taking a hot shower and being all girly with trying on different outfits for over an hour she’d head down to the great hall when it was time for lunch. Just like her, there were other kids running around in muggle outfits as well. She wasn’t really sure if it was alright to do so but up and till now Reese hadn’t really cared much if it was frowned upon or not. After five full years, and a few weeks of her sixth year, she was still doing the same thing without being told to put on her robes. Not that she’d listen though, she wasn’t a stubborn Gryffy for nothing. Reese settled down at the Lion’s table, which wasn’t all that occupied with students at the moment. Most were probably getting lunch elsewhere or were just hanging out somewhere in the castle. Knowing this, Reese had brought the book she was currently reading. ‘Muggle fairytales’ it was called and she’d read it so many times the cover of the book was nearly coming off by now. There was just something about those princesses, princes and other magical creatures that kept her reading the tales over and over again. Perhaps it was the everlasting love and the happily ever after that were always part of each story. Reese truly was a sucker for tales with a good ending. After filling her mug with some hot tea she then filled her plate with a few strawberries, a small slice of apple pie and a chocolate cupcake. The perfect Sunday breakfast. As it seemed she was going to be company less for lunch today Reese opened her book, brought a strawberry to her mouth and started reading.

Well, another month had passed and he'd survived again. Although this time the damage wasnt at a zero. He was much brighter faced than usual as he stepped back into the castle. He was still in the same trackys and t-shirt he'd left in three nights ago and felt pretty much like a damn scruff. As he walked, he pulled leaves out of his hair, decing to use this time the lie of being hiking and got lost.
He reached his dorm room eventually and walked inside, picking up a clean towel and headed to the showers. He allowed the warm water to wash over him, his head submerged as it sprinkled lightly onto his face, washing away all traces of anything. Mud, dirt and of course... blood. His eyes snapped open as the realisation hit him again. Just act normal, like nothing happened... He told himself. Cold, cruel... but he was sure Gray wouldnt want hounding... excuse the expression.
Stepping out of the shower, his feet slapped lightly on the cold stone floor as he made his way back to the dorms. Once he was dry, he got himself dressed. Jeans, dark t-shirt and a dark-leather jacket. Glancing in the mirror he didnt look half as pale as he thought he would... and for the first time after a cycle, he was hungry.
Pulling himself together, he put on a smile and proceeded out of the dorms, through the common rooms and into the great hall. Obviously it was late and there was nobody here... A few ravenclaws, some hufflepuffs but he averted his eyes from that particular table. No slytherins and one, lone Gryffindor girl. Quite a cute, lone Gryffindor girl...
Reading.
The Slytherin boy made his way over to the Gryffindor table and looked over the girls shoulder, reading a paragraph of the book. Fairy tales? He thought with amusement. How life is like a fairy tale, full of monsters and saviours. He knew this girl, he'd seen her in classes... She hangs around with Graham... He remebered. Now there's a glitch for you. A complication but even so, he sat down beside her, eyes still on the girl's book. "You look quite lost in that." His voice was stiff, he was speaking to someone out of choice. He never did that. "What do you find so fascinating about fairy tales?"

Most people who liked fairytales –whether or not they were muggle tales or wizard tales- rooted for the hero, the good side. Reese did too. Most of the time. Although when she was in a bad mood she surely could care less that Snow White choked in an apple. That stupid girl should know better than to accept apples from a strange looking woman. Especially apples that seemed to be almost perfect. That was waiting for trouble to hit you right there. If some stranger would approach Reese with a huge strawberry that looked perfect and that said person tried to seduce her in taking a bite, she would surely decline the offer. Snow White was such a naïve thing. Not that Reese wasn’t naïve like her, just in different areas.
Today was a good day though and while she was reading the story about Cinderella, Reese was all rooting for the prince to come safe Cinderella from her horrible life. Sometimes the story made her sad as it reminded her that her own prince had died a year ago. Jake had been her first prince charming, which he would always be, even if someday a second prince charming would come here way. Which Reese knew not to count on though. But reading about Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty gave her hope that maybe, someday, true love would still be within reach.
A smile reached her lips when about ten minutes after she’d sit down to have lunch, Nathan Spencer made his appearance. Reese didn’t need to look up to see him walking her way and then standing behind her, obviously either reading with her or waiting for her to notice him. You just knew when the guy you were secretly crushing on was close by. Not that she really knew him, or talked to him before. Except when it was class-related or something. Like passing on some ingredient during Potions. She’d noticed the so called ‘cuteness’ in Nathan the first time they’d had class together again. Last year she hadn’t noticed him but this year she definitely had and she’d been planning on getting to know him. Eventually.
“Not quite lost enough to know you’ve been standing behind me for several minutes Nathan.” she said, without looking up from her book until she reached the end off the page. Closing the book Reese looked up and let her eyes wander to his face and smiled. Why was it again that Slytherin seemed to house the most good looking guys? She’d been researching this phenomenon since her first year but still hadn’t found the answer. “I guess because of the whole happy ending and living happily ever after thing. Gives me hope you know?” A soft laugh left her lips and she shrugged, “Suppose that’s kind of girly right?” Not that she cared, it was just who she was.
“What about you? Or should I assume fairytales aren’t bad ass enough for Slytherins?” Reese playfully winked at him and turned to reach for her mug of tea. Turning back to him she slowly sipped from her mug.

He was skimming over the paragraph about Cinderella and her sisters. Honestly, why anyone would find such a thing interesting he never could fathom out. It was all, white dresses, fancy princes and even fancier balls, crystal shoes and happy endings. If life worked that way, then nobody would really be unhappy and everyone would have thier prince charming or thier Cinderella. Nate did not have a Cinderella, and doubted he ever would.
Nate had seen the girl around before, he'd have had to be blind to have not seen her. Apart from her dazzling good looks they'd often been shoved together in Potions -- albeit they didnt speak much in there, even though she may have tried striking up a conversation once or twice -- he'd known who she was. He'd decided now though, seeing her in here alone and with nobody around to witness the event, Nate decided to strike up a conversation... more to see if he could actually do it then anything else.
"Well if you knew I was here, why did you not say something and I would have moved." He said with a simple shrug of his shoulders as she closed the book and he sat down. His eyes watched cautiously as hers seemed to take in his facial structure and features. He didnt bother stopping her eyes raking over his face, but he would have to be extra careful, just incase. "There's nothing wrong with hoping for a happy ending, as long as you're able to take it if it doesnt quite happen the way you want it to. Not all Princes are Charming." His mouth turned upwards in a smile, of course there was nothing wrong with a bit of hope, it was the dissapointment when it amounted to nothing that you'd have to deal with. "Well, yes. It is kind of girly. But everyone hopes for some form of a happy ending or at least a few moments of happiness in thier lives."
Even if it did seem like it was a lost cause.
"Lets just say I'm not a fairy-tale kind of guy." He snickered to himself, course he'd seen the girls of Slytherin reading Fairy-Tales hoping to find thier own Prince, but Nate just didnt believe things could work out like that. If most people's lives were like that, then what was his? "I'm more a... monster under your bed kind of person. Horror and Gore. Cant go wrong." He retained his smile, but the light in his eyes dimmed ever so slightly.
In a way though, Fairy-Tales and Horror stories did go hand in hand. It was just a question of which one you wanted your life to follow, even if you chose the first... the latter would never be far behind.

Reese smirked when he sort of asked why she hadn’t said anything. “You seemed to be quite lost in the story, I didn’t want to disturb you Nate.” Using the first line he’s used on her against him, she couldn’t help to tease him a little. He could take it. After all, he was supposed to be a bad ass Slytherin right? At least he always seemed to want everyone else to believe that. Reese hadn’t really fallen for that whole bad ass routine of his just yet though. She knew a few Slytherins and they weren’t as bad ass as they appeared to be.
However something that was obviously clear, was that Nathan was totally hot. There wasn’t much else she knew about him since he seemed to be very secretive and mysterious. Hell, this was the very first time he had actually engaged in a conversation with her. Reese had tried to get him to talk before but he never seemed interested in paying much attention to her. This didn’t go well with her and it made her want to get his attention even more.
Funny how that worked.
She reached out for her plate and picked up her cupcake, or at least what was left of it. Things that contained chocolate always seemed to ‘magically’ disappear when Reese was around. She’d always had been and always would be a chocolate addict. Taking a small bite from the sweetness in her hands she smiled back at him after she’d chewed on the cake and swallowed her bite. He had a cute smile. Come to think of it, she hadn’t seen it before. “Suppose that is true although my Prince Charming is 20% charming and 80% bad ass. Having a good prince is only fun for so long.” She playfully winked at him, not shy to flirt with him now that she got the chance.
A laugh left her lips as he showed her how manly he was by telling her he was more into Horror and Gore. Typical. But again, he had a point. Reese didn’t mind some of that genre either. She wasn’t a sappy girl who only enjoyed love drama’s and comedies. “Figured as much. You don’t seem to be the kind of guy who’d willingly do the whole sappy love drama genre thing. Can’t blame you, I don’t either. Except during Christmas, then it seems fitting somehow.” Cause then she got reminded how alone she actually was in this world without a family. Blood related family. Course she had Graham and his mum but they weren’t her real family. She’d made them her family. That was different even if she would love them as much as she would love any member of her family who was related to her.
”Not hungry?” she asked, nodding towards the table filled with food. “You can take some of the Gryffy food if you want. I won’t tell if you won’t.” Reese smirked, knowing how gryffindors and Slytherins always seemed to have this rival thing going. She herself didn’t go with that flow. Reese had friends all over the place, including in Slytherin so unlike her fellow house mates, she didn’t care about any of the going rivalry between houses. Finishing her chocolate treat she felt bad it was all gone now. Sure, the basket on the table was still filled but she’d already had her strawberries and the tiny slice of apple pie. Her stomach was filled but the craving for chocolate would always be ever lasting.

Nathan watched as she picked up a delicious looking cupcake, but as tasty as it looked it still manage to make Nathan's stomach churn slightly as he remembered the last thing he had sank his teeth into. His blue eyes scanned the food infront of him that kept replacing itself as though taunting him, but Nate simply pushed the plate infront of him away and instead picked up a goblet. Juice was about the only thing Nathan thought he'd be able to keep down. "Well then I'd say it's a good thing I'm not all charming, wouldnt you?" He laughed, although he'd say he was 0% prince charming and 100% horror movie monster. She flirted with him, so there would be nothing bad about flirting back right? As long as he didnt take it too far and didnt get attatched.
He listened as she spoke again, an odd thing as usually Nathan never listened to anybody but Ryan, Alfie and Michelle. He supposed if he had a gang, or just a bunch of close friends it would be those three. Although Ryan was his closest friend, he'd been there for Nathan through everything and knew pretty much everything there was to know about the young Werewolf. "No. Im not the type who willingly does anything like that. But there are occasions when somebody will surprise you, or you'll notice someone even when you dont want to and try and you might... even though you know you should stay away, you find that it's the most difficult thing you could do and eventually give in." Like Nathan, of course he'd noticed Reese it would have been hard not to. He knew there was a part of him that was interested in her and that part frightened him. He'd never speak to her, he'd always avoid her... but now he found himself in the middle of a conversation with her, even though he knew he shouldnt be.
"No, I rarely eat breakfast." He spoke, pushing the plate further from him again as it seemed to have crept even closer. Nathan wasnt one to join in the Gryffindor/Slytherin debate, he was the same with everyone apart from muggleborns, there was just something he couldnt stand about them. He pulled the goblet back to his mouth and took a gulp out of it. His throat was very dry. Currently, things in his life were not at all... well balanced he supposed and he wasnt sure how to balance them out again. He glanced over to the Hufflepuff table, glad to see Gray wasnt there. Still, it had been an illuminating night, in more ways than one.
He turned his attention back to Reese, a playful smile on his lips as he nodded to a ebony-haired boy who was currently stood at the entrance of the Great Hall looking in their direction with his mouth open, looking quite angry. "I think I'm annoying your boyfriend, talking to you." He nodded in Damon's direction. In a lot of ways, the Ravenclaw was quite like Nathan, but in most he was the polar opposite. Damon's face was mixed, you could see he was debating coming over, but after a while he decided to go and sit with his back to them at the Ravenclaw table. "Wont cause problems between you two, will it?"

Reese recognized flirting the moment it was been done by someone. And there was no denying Nathan was responding to her flirting. The idea of that made her smile and gave her confirmation that on some level he liked her. Even if it was just a little. “It should be although I don’t know you that well to be able to answer that, yet. But it’s always good to have some bad ass inside of you. Every girl likes that, whether she will admit to it or not.” And she was going to find out how bad ass Nathan exactly was. He just didn’t know that she had that planned, yet.
A brow got raised for a moment when he continued about how sometimes you did something even if you should know better and not do them. Where was this suddenly coming from? “Like now?” Reese wasn’t an idiot, she knew that you just didn’t talk like this without having some secret meaning behind the words. It sounded too serious to just wave away. “Maybe it depends though. You can do two things, you can either stay on the safe side and wonder ‘what if..’ for the rest of time or you can take a chance and see where it leads you. And what fun is there in taking the safe road? Life wouldn’t be what is without some risk taking.” It could either go good or bad. Reese knew that very well but she had also had some good times when she’d taken a few risks.
She wasn’t sure though what Nathan was hinting at with his cryptic words. “So, do you have that? Some sense for adventure?” She hoped he would, he seemed like a guy who could entertain a girl. Who wasn’t boring and who kept things interesting. At least, that is what she hoped he would be like. Reese was curious what the deal was with this guy. He never had seemed to be interested in some chatting with her and suddenly here he was, talking and flirting like it was something they did all the time.
Reese was distracted for a moment as she filled her mug with some more tea. She looked up though when Nathan mention that her boyfriend was annoyed by him. “My what?” she asked, picking up her filled mug and turning back to face Nathan. Her eyes soon wandered into the direction he was nodding at. It didn’t take long for her to find Damon. “Who? Damon?” An instead bright smile appeared on her face although she couldn’t help but laugh softly upon seeing her friends face. Obviously he was not quite sure how to look or what to do. “Don’t worry about it, he’s not my boyfriend. We’re not together if that’s what you mean. He’s just very protective over me, we’re close friends.” To say the least. He was way more than just a close friend but Reese didn’t feel the need to share that with Nathan. That was not his business. “Things happened in the past, he’s just trying to make sure they won’t happen again. It’s nothing personal.” At least she didn’t think so but she’d probably find out later when she would go over to him and give him a good morning kiss.

Nathan grinned, of course she didnt know him well enough to make a judgment on him yet. But still, he was talking to her and that was a good start. Even if nothing became of it, even if she decided she hated his guts at least he'd tried and that was worth something right? Besides, it was doing his head in not speaking to her when he was actually quite attracted to the girl. "But doesnt it depend on just how bad the badness inside you is? What if it's too bad? What if it's worse than what you could ever imagine? Would you still say that then?"
He knew she wasnt dumb, she'd put two and two together which what he'd just said and though she might not hit the nail on the head he knew she would not be too far off the mark. And she wasnt. "Yes, like now." He shouldnt be putting them both in this situation, he was dangerous and probably always would be. Maybe he wasnt so much bad as he was dangerous. Still, he could be as dangerous as a man-eating wolf, or as soft as a newborn puppy depending on whether or not he remembered his potion. "I know, which is why I decided to step off the safe road and take a chance. Afterall, you cant live your life forever on the safe road. Occasionally you're thrown far off it."
Nathan found himself laughing, did he have a sense of adventure? Well he didnt sit in front of the fire reading things all day, that would be boring beyond anything he could have thought of. "Of course I do, dont you?" He enjoyed shocking people, doing things people would never believe possible of Nate. He was good at that. He often found himself shocking himself but it was always a good kind of shock. Like now, he hadnt believed he'd be able to carry a conversation, even with his close friends he found it difficult to make a conversation last. But Reese, she was surprisingly easy to talk to, even more surprising... he liked it.
Nathan shrugged when she said his name, honestly he had no time for people like Damon. He knew the guys reputation and despised him for it. If anyone had anything to hide he was sure Damon did. Afterall, he was hiding something and knew the signs, Damon was hiding behind his reputation, hiding something important... and Nathan had no intention of finding out. "So you're not seeing anybody, then?" Nathan asked, it surprised him at how curious he was to this answer. He put his elbow on the table and rested his head on his hand, looking at her with curious eyes. He was glad she wasnt with Damon, but the question he wanted to know was, was she with anybody else? "So, something happened in your past... or his... and he doesnt want you to be hurt again? Or he doesnt want to be hurt again?" It would seem now, Nathan was very interested in learning what he could about Reese... but would she be as eager to tell him anything?

See, she knew it! Something was up and/or had changed to make it ‘able’ for him to finally truly acknowledge her presence. Maybe she should wonder about whether that was a good thing or that she should feel offended by it. She wasn’t sure yet so for now she just would see how things would go. There was no use in judging something or someone you knew pretty much nothing about now was there? “Good for you and welcome to the dark side. I’m sure you will enjoy yourself, given the chance.” Reese chuckled, bringing the mug to her lips again and sip from her tea while she couldn’t help but find Nathan to be very amusing.
Reese shrugged when he continued about the whole badness thing. “Yeah I would. I mean Slytherins are always seen as the bad asses off the school right? Yet, that still does not mean they can’t be a great friend or that they are bad people in general. It’s just a label. Same goes with ‘badness’ as you call it. Sometimes people make it look way worse than it really is. At least that is my opinion.” Well wasn’t this a sudden intense conversation.
She had a feeling he wanted a certain answer from her but she didn’t see what that could be. “You know Nathan, if you want a certain answer from me why don’t you just ask me?” Reese smiled at him, to let him know that she didn’t mind if it were true. Apparently something was up but he was doing his best to talk around it. And to be honest, she didn’t feel like playing games. Especially not if it made her feel like this was some kind of test. Nathan had a great laugh and Reese couldn’t help but smirk when she heard it. People were always beautiful when they laughed and Nathan was no exception to that rule at all. She nodded, pleased with his answer. “Always. According to my brother I love it too much. He thinks I have a sixth sense to find danger and at times if I don’t, it seems to find me instead.” Although Reese just claimed that Graham was too protective over here and sensed danger in things that weren’t that dangerous at all to begin with.
So Damon was jealous? Reese wasn’t sure if she’d read his face well enough to actually make such a statement but why else would he behave like he just had? He could be just worried though. That was also an option. Whatever it was, it was damn cute. “Curious much? Or just concerned that my real boyfriend would walk in and actually decides to come over here to kick your ass?” she laughed although didn’t mind his question much. Shaking her head she ran a hand through her hair, “No I’m pretty much single right now. What about you then? Should I watch my back when around you?” Not that his girlfriend would have anything to worry about. Reese never went after someone else’s guy or girl. That just wasn’t right.
She narrowed her eyes a little at his questions. He was getting pretty personal there. Reese always said people could ask her whatever but they didn’t always get an answer. That same thing applied right here, with Nathan. “He’s just being a good friend, that’s all there is to tell. I’m sure you have friends like that as well.” Leaving it somewhat in the middle whether it was more related to her past or to his. Nathan hadn’t earned that much trust yet to be allowed to know such personal things.

Nathan smiled from behind his goblet, unable really to do anything else. Her voice sounded victorious as though she'd won some prize or something, he wasnt entirely sure but somehow, it made him slightly uneasy for a short while. However, he didnt let it phase him entirely, setting the goblet down, the Slytherin licked his lips before he chose to answer, though, at the same time, entirely dodging what she had most recently spoken. "I heard the dark side had cookies, who am I to refuse?" As for enjoying himself, he wasnt sure whether that could be taken into consideration, he was pretty certain every moment would be a moment of hell for him.
Opinions, everyone was full of them. Even Nathan had a few he was unwilling to share, but she didnt seem at all hesitant about voicing her own. Well, credit to her he figured. Open mindedness, at least he wouldnt be playing the 'what is she thinking' game. "Quite the contrary, everyone has at least one close friend." Would you class a werewolf as bad as it is made out to be? He thought to himself, the thought bringing a small smile to his face. In his own mind, he could say what he pleased, but most of the thoughts that passed through his mind, never left it.
He rolled his eyes, part of him tempted to ask what her opinion was on werewolves, but knowing better than that and instead just shook his head. "No, there isnt a particular question... I was just wondering on how bad you mean. I am sure you wouldnt like anything that was... I dunno... too dangerous." Or maybe he was wrong, maybe she'd get a thrill of hanging around a Werewolf, who knows?
While he laughed, his smile stretched to his eyes, eyes crinkling up and sparkling slightly. But as quickly as it came it dimmed again. It was news to him that Reese had a brother but as family was of no interest to him he chose not to ask about it. He didnt realise that it was a fundamental question and that he should have asked. "Well, I'll say you are a magnet for danger. That much is true." Hell, she had drew him in, and in his eyes, he was one of the most Dangerous things in or around the castle. Nathan looked back down, suddenly captivated with the liquid inside the goblet. He was no longer interested in this conversation, more to the fact he wanted a subject change.
Nathan couldnt help the snort which burst from him when she spoke next. Scared of another guy? That would never happen, Nathan never claimed to be a coward and he never would be. There was nothing wrong with what they were doing, it wasnt as though Nathan was pushing himself on her, or touching her or anything of the kind. "Yeah, that's me, concerned." He rolled his eyes, obviously it was nothing to do with that he was genuinly curious to know whether or not she was seeing anybody. "No, I'm curious to know whether or not I'm wasting both my time, and yours." His tone was matter of fact and a laugh followed when she spoke of Nathans non-existant girlfriend. "Only if your worried about a crowd of addicted Slytherin girls who've formed a Nathan Spencer fanclub, asides from that no. I dont have a partner."
"I guess that quesion was a little personal, I apologize. I'm just genuinly interested in you... for some reason you're a little bit fascinating to me." He shrugged as though it didnt matter much. But she was. She was a puzzle he intended on figuring out, he wasnt sure how he was going to do it, or if he'd even like what he found out... but she was the one person he'd met up to now who seemed to grab his attention and keep it... even when it seemed as though she hadnt actually gotten it. Nathan would find himself puzzling over her for hours, wondering about her... and it drove him mad. He wanted to know but he didnt want to know... He'd spend time after time trying to figure it out, then telling himself he didnt care and he didnt want to know... It annoyed him, and the only solution he could come up with had led him to this moment... and she was as big a puzzle now as ever she was. "Yeah, I have a couple of friends like that I suppose."

He was very smooth. Reese would give him that. Unfortunately for him she had her fair share of guys in the past that were similar to him. Bad ass, smooth talker, tough look, dodging questions by joking around, trying to stay mysterious, flirtatious; he had them all and to her it wasn’t anything new to deal with. Which probably had made her into the girl she was today. Course she knew he was dodging her questions but that was fine. She was just pushing a few buttons to see what would happen and he was reacting just as she would expect for him to do.
Sometimes and at some levels guys were so predictable. Course, that did not make Nathan any less interesting. She shrugged but did throw him a bit of a puzzled look, “Depends on what you mean with ‘too dangerous’. And for the record, I have no idea what exactly you’re referring to anymore.” Oh he was not telling her something on which he wanted her opinion. That much was obvious but why and what about she did not know.
But those thoughts were chased away when he called her a magnet for danger. First her eyes widened a little and then Reese started to laugh. He had no idea how right he was. “Dude you don’t even know me! But no offence, you don’t seem to be that dangerous.” Assuming he was seeing himself as some potential form of danger. Didn’t he understand that the more he was trying to convince her he was all dangerous and bad ass, she kept finding him that to be less and less? “Well unless you have some proof to show me?” she teased, smiling at him while she sipped from her tea some more.
A small sparkle appeared in her eyes when she pushed the wrong button and obviously entered some ego territory. Course he wasn’t concerned, no decent Slytherin would ever admit to it. Maybe she was enjoying this just a tad bit too much wasn’t she? Poor guy. “A fanclub? Impressive.” And a little disgusting. He had actual groupies? Ew. A faint colour suddenly crept onto her cheeks though, “You’re definitely not wasting anyone’s time. But I wouldn’t mind if you would make up for some lost time either.” Wow, direct and not wasting anytime at all. That was certainly new. Reese liked it, playing games was only fun for so long.
Reese ran a hand through her hair and looked away for a moment. Even if she was forward with things a lot, she could get shy sometimes and blush a little. “No that’s okay, I don’t mind you asking. Whether you get an answer is something else though.” Upon looking up again a small smile lingered on her lips. “I am?” her voice filled with surprise, not expecting for him to just tell her he thought she was fascinating. “And why is that?” Well she had a right to ask, besides, she was curious. She couldn’t help but asking.

Nathan seemed to drift in and out of the conversation, sometimes it could seem as though he wasnt at all interested in what was being said but to be honest... he was processing everything she said, trying to understand it and trying to figure her out. Of course, everything she said led him to a whole other place, making him want to know more about her and really understand what the girl was thinking. "I know you dont, that's the point." He didnt want her to understand what he was referring to, at least not yet.
Now, Nathan wasnt the most dangerous person in the history of hogwarts and probably wouldnt be the most dangerous to walk through those doors. But for now, he was more dangerous than the average joe... luckily for him it was something he could hide for the most part. A lot of people never even guessed that there was anything wrong, but the few who did he could talk around easily enough... however, there was always one who figured it out. Even Nathan's secret wasnt as secret as he would have liked. "And there's the beauty in it. Those who dont seem dangerous have the potential to be even more so... because who would suspect them?" He chuckled "But being a Slytherin... I guess i'm always a suspect." He put his goblet down and watched with fascination as it refilled. It never failed to amaze him. Magic was simply amazing. "Sorry I dont have any proof. I guess you're going to have to decide whether or not I'm too dangerous for you... arent you?" He gave her a lopsided cheeky smile.
When she spoke of his fanclub, he rolled his eyes. Honestly, he found the whole thing annoying and tedious and so he pretended as though he never noticed it. Which both annoyed them, and made them try even harder. Girls who waited for you to pass and giggled when you did really got on Nathan's nerves. It was not something he liked and to be honest, it infuriated him. "I'd have gone for annoying personally. Seriously, they're like sheep. Lost sheep following me wherever I go its a wonder I can go for a shower or for the toilet in peace." He watched with curiosity as a blush crept up her face, for some reason, unknown to him... his hand reached out and his finger traced the blush on her cheeks. It was warm and her skin was surpsingly soft. It took a moment for him to realise that while he'd done this he'd involuntarily leant forward. Dropping his hand with a sigh he moved away again. "And how am I to make up for lost time?" He asked, an eyebrow raised in question.
The blush on her cheeks slowly began to fade away, much to his dissapointment. He enjoyed looking at it, he rarely blushed and he rarely saw a Slytherin that did. It was nice... nice and new. Especially since he figured he was the cause of it. "Well that is fair enough. I cant expect an answer to all my questions now, can I? As you cant expect one for yours." He sighed again though as she asked yet another question. He looked up to the enchanted sky and began to think of the best way to phrase why she was so fascinating to him. He knew the term 'you just are' wouldnt cut it for her. "I dont know. You never do what I expect you to do, no matter how many times in the past I've tried to shrug you off you bounce back and keep on trying with more determination then ever. You're a puzzle to me, I cant help but think there is a lot more to you than what you allow people to see and the thought of it makes me want to find out... what that is... you're just fascinating. You're not like the other conceited girls in this school. You're interesting and you do put others first."

Alright, so behind the whole sexy Slytherin thing he had going for himself, Nathan was a little weird. But weren’t all boys at some point considered to be a little weird? Reese shrugged it off with him trying to be all awesome and mysterious or something. Well whatever, she wasn’t going care about that. Let him try and impress her, although secretly he had already left a big impression on her since she first laid eyes on him. “I think you’re trying to come off way more ‘dangerous’ than you really are. Suppose most girls would be impressed but you know, I think I could handle you just fine.” Flashing him a grin of her own Reese was so going to play along with his game. No way she would let him ‘win’.
She couldn’t say she’d noticed he was being stalked by girls. The only girl in close proximity to him was her! But then again, she hadn’t truly noticed him until quite recently either. Reese laughed though, glancing around the room again. “Suppose Sunday would be their day off?” she joked. Come on, she just had to tease him with that. “Can’t really blame them though, for trying to get your attention. “ Her voice trailed off when she suddenly felt his finger trace her cheek. Reese looked away, feeling a heat lingering on her skin where he’d touched her. Oh boy. “You’re already making up for it…” she softly said, looking up after he’d pulled away again.
Wow, what had just happened here? Well whatever it was, it seemed to be over just as fast as it had happened. Didn’t that happen with all good things in life?
Warming her hands on her mug Reese’s eyes stayed on him as he suddenly decided to study the magical sky above them. For a moment she thought he was again dodging her question, about why he was fascinated by her. But then she actually got a real answer out of him and for a moment she had no idea how to respond. Apparently he knew her way better than she gave him credit for. “Oh…” but before she could continue to think about what to say she felt her cheeks heat up again. “…stop it, you’re making me blush Nate.” Her voice was soft and she was surprised to hear him say such sweet words. “Maybe you’ll find out someday, you never know right?” And she surely wouldn’t mind it at all if he tried.
