The blonde shook his head when Bayne suggested forgetting the fight. Though he was glad that it was over, he didn't want to forget it. It was important to remember what people fought about, and to avoid it in the future. "Let's just...remember this, and try to be better next time." He whispered instead, his smile faltering a little when the taller male offered to be just friends for now, however with the promise that he wouldn't kiss anyone else. It was a difficult situation for him to be in, even though part of him did want to promise the Gryffindor the world.
"That is rather selfish" He said it softly though, his fingers reaching up to brush gently over the others cheek. "I can't promise you that I won't flirt with people, because it tends to happen without my noticing...but I can try to behave. Just don't be too hard on me?" The younger man wanted to try, he just wasn't sure if he would manage, and oddly enough, it would be easier not to mess up knowing that it wouldn't be a big deal if he did. "I'm a bit of a fuck up if you hadn't noticed already.." |

Bayne stood close to Luke, just holding him. It wasnt anything too intimate, it was Bayne trying to keep Luke calm. For some reason, his own nerves calmed when he put his thoughts into someone else. "Learn our lesson?" It was odd, he was still finding the whole situation quite surreal, yet in his mind he was quite sure one day Luke would be his, he'd just have to practise a little more patience. Bayne could be patient when he wanted to be.
"I know it is," Bayne's voice was low, it was quite apologetic too. He hadnt wanted to be selfish, but he knew inside if he wasnt then he'd always be jealous and it would never work between Luke and Bayne. Call it an act of faith, but he had faith in Luke, he knew he could do it if he wanted to. "No, there's nothing wrong with flirting. Flirting is harmless." Bayne wrapped his arm around Luke and began to guide him back to the castle. "We all fuck up Luke, I havnt exactly gone about this in the right way have I? |
