In a way, Graham felt lots better than he'd done in a long time. For one, he'd met up with Emilie today, and they'd somewhat patched up their friendship. Then he'd gone to play Quidditch with his team, and they were looking to be amazing this year. All in all, he felt tired, sweaty, and amazing. There was just one thing that needed to be fixed and it was his slight issue with Emilie's brother. Now that he knew who'd been responsible for his broken up friendship, he felt very tempted to rip the blonde a new one.
This had nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that he'd always found the other attractive. Because, hell, what self respecting gay guy wouldn't find Alfie Chase attractive? The boy was fit as hell from playing Quidditch, had the Chase good-look genes and he always had this cocky grin on his face. Yeah, when it came to looks, Gray had a thing for the bad boys, but he knew that it would never be more than that. Plus, he'd rather die than admit this to anyone, even Emilie.
Entering the Prefects Bathroom, he flung his towel onto one of the benches, stripping from his clothes as quickly as he could. It was hot in the room, and he couldn't wait to slip into the pool.

Alfred Alexander Chase, commonly known as Alfie amongst his peers, (Alfred to his mother, but if he ever catches any other person calling him that he’ll hex them into next year.) was a young man of leisure. He enjoyed the days where he could relax, lazing about with the intentions of doing absolutely nothing for the entire day.
Today was one of those days. He’d done nothing but lay on a couch in the Slytherin commons, chatting with a few of the lads. Starting his homework and then throwing it to the side two minutes later in exchange for flirting with Charlotte, a giggly fourth year who was head over heels with him. Fit but not someone Alfie was particularly interested in. Especially since she was an awful kisser. Really fucking awful. Alfie was sure kissing a frog would be much more pleasing. Not that it was her fault she slobbered like a dog when giving tongue.
Back to the point, Alfie had done absolutely nothing all day. The only time he’d left the common room was for the feast and then instead of heading back to the Slytherin commons with his peers, he’d decided to take a dip in the prefect pool. Perks of being a Quidditch Captain.
He’d been in the water for no more than half an hour, doing a couple of laps up and down the pool. Attempting to beat his record time of holding his breath underwater, no such luck so far. He had been floating on his back, staring up at the ceiling and thinking about nothing in particular when he heard someone else enter the room.
Moving so that he was up right and treading water, Alfie stared across the room towards the doors to see non-other than Graham Kerr, Hufflepuff Quidditch captain and pain in the arse, taking off his clothing. He clearly didn’t know that there was anyone else in the pool as he went about undressing. Alfie guessed that he hadn’t spotted the pile of Slytherin robes discarded a few steps away either. He smirked.
Moving through the water silently, Alfie stopped so that he had a clear view of Graham and he turned his head onto it’s side, his smirk slipping into a sly and appreciative grin.
“Nice arse, Kerr.” his voice echoed off the walls.

Nothing, not even having Alfie right there, could really give a blow to his mood. It did, however, make him flush as he realised he'd just undressed in front of the other, giving him a nice show of everything he had to offer. Turning to glance at him, he figured that the boy had already seen enough boy parts not to be phased by his, and just slid himself into the pool. He dipped down low, wetting his hair and slicking it back with an appreciative groan. The water was amazing, warm and soothing his muscles, and if the other would just shut up, this might be the perfect ending to a perfect day.
Gray had quite a bit of practise ignoring people, but something about Alfie Chase always made him respond. Maybe it was because he'd been jealous of the others relationship with his best friend, and right now it was definitely because he knew who'd been responsible for Emilie ignoring him the better part of a year.
Deciding that he wasn't going to let his mood be spoiled, he just grinned at him. "Ta. Also, your sister says hi" The blonde had never approved of their friendship, or from what he'd heard from Emilie at least. So the least he could do was rile him up a little by rubbing said friendship in his face. "Spent the afternoon with her in Madam Puddifoots" If he thought they were dating, all the better.

Alfie stared at Graham. His sister says hi?
So Emilie had befriended Graham again. Alfie rolled his eyes. That girl was asking for trouble. If their father were to find out..
Not that Alfie was about to go running to him about it. Not this time. He’d told their father last time out of spite. Because he’d had a fight with Emilie and she had pissed him off. So in order to piss her off he’d snitched on her. It had all been rather petty. Alfie couldn’t even remember what she’d said or done to piss him off. He did, however, remember how much hurt his sister had gone through because of him. Alfie could be a bastard at the best of times but he loved his sister and even though she might be a pain in his arse sometimes, he’d never want to hurt her.
When Graham mentioned that he’d spent the afternoon with her in Madam Puddifoots, Alfie quirked a brow at the other blonde and his smug statement. Was the Hufflepuff trying to provoke him? Did he somehow think that Kerr spending time with his sister bothered him?
A wicked grin twisted at the Slytherins lips. It didn’t bother him in the least. But Kerr seemed to be under the impression that it did. Alfie realised that some serious fun could be had here. After all he was all about mind games. Playing the part of jealous brother should be interesting. Far more interesting than brushing it off.
“Decided to take pity on you again, has she?” he drawled, feigning annoyance. “She must be bored.” He stopped in his gliding through the water so that he could face Graham properly and then adding the right dose of ’jealousy’ into his voice, added “Why else would she be wasting her time on a penniless mudblood?”
He smirked here, watched Graham for a silent moment, and then turned in the water, returning to completing his laps.

As far as Graham knew, it bothered Alfie. Why else would he snitch on her about her relationship with a Mudblood? There was no other reason he could think of. He'd treated her well, had never made her cry, had always been there for her, so in that sense he was by no means inferior to her other friends. And yet Alfie had deemed it necessary to inform their parents of the unlikely friendship between the Slytherin and the Hufflepuff.
"Maybe she sees something in me that you don't" He cocked his hip, looking at the blonde who had resumed his laps. Gray was by no means going to get riled up just because the Slytherin called him a mudblood, he'd heard that term too many times to be insulted by it. And even though he was penniless, he knew his worth and it was a damn lot more than some snobby little rich kid like Alfred Chase.
"Entertainment value, maybe. I tend to be very pretty and interesting, around the right people" He threw himself back in the water, lazily floating around the surface of the pool. He wasn't really trying his hardest with the insults, if only because Alfie's seem to miss the mark. If he really wanted to rile him up, he'd have to bring something better than the term poor mudblood.

Graham hadn’t retorted to his jibe about being a poor mud blood. Alfie sighed. ‘Boring’. He’d hoped he’d be able to illicit at least some kind of response. Maybe an angry grimace or a snide remark. Asking for tears was too much. He was dealing with a Sixth Year after all and Graham hardly seemed like the type to burst into tears over being called a mud blood. Though that would be very amusing to see.
Alfie debated on whether or not he could arsed enough to come up with another tactic to get under the Hufflepuffs skin as he stopped at the opposite end of the large bath. When Graham replied to his comment Alfie snorted to himself, unable to offer a snide remark as he was now swimming back to where Graham was floating.
“You know if I didn’t know any better, Kerr..” he started once he’d come to a stop at the ledge of the pool. “I’d say you were into my sister.” He had twisted around so that his back was to the pool wall, his hands gripping onto the ledge just above his head.
“But I do know better.”
Alfie stared at Graham with a look that was both superior and knowing, the usual smug smirk twisting at his lips.

Graham was smiling almost smugly when Alfie mentioned that Gray might be into his sister, after all, he would really like it if the rest of Hogwarts agreed with that assessment. But of course it was too much to ask for, as proven by those latter words, that left him blinking at the other blonde for a moment. He knew better? Had Emmy told him? No. His friend wouldn't do that, even when they were fighting or not talking to each other. She loved him, he was sure of that, and she wouldn't snitch his biggest secret - as far as she knew anyway - to someone as liable as Alfie.
"You think, huh?" The Hufflepuff ran fingers through his hair, looking at the boy stretching himself out like that. Did he really think Gray was just going to admit being gay just because he took a swing at it? And just because he had to stand there, looking all wet and admittedly, very hot, did he really think that was going to make Gray lose it?
Well...maybe. "And so what if I were, huh? I'm sure you're less than straight yourself." At least, the blonde didn't give off the vibe that he was solely into girls, or maybe that was Graham Kerrs wishful thinking. "What are you gonna do about it?"

Alfie had watched Graham carefully, his pale blue eyes transfixed on the others boys face, waiting for his reaction. The corner of his lip twitched into the faintest of smirks when Graham blinked silently, stumped for an immediate answer. Excellent, Alfie had caught him out. Graham’s response or rather lack of was all the confirmation he needed.
Alfie had planned to leave the matter at that, not without a few insults of course, but he wasn’t going to delve any further into the matter. But then Graham had gone and said those seven magical words, words Alfie could not ignore.. ‘What are you gonna do about it?’.. And Alfie couldn’t help himself.
A wicked and almost sinister grin twisted at the Slytherins lips. Graham probably assumed that Alfie was going to be an utter and complete bastard about uncovering his little secret. Because that’s what he did best. But that wasn’t all he did best..
Letting go of the baths edge, Alfie dipped into the water and began to advance on Graham, approaching him like a cat stalking a mouse. “What am I going to do?” he repeated innocently, an almost predatory glint in his eyes.
The fact that Graham was slowly inching away whether it be an unconscious act or because Alfie was invading his personal space, made his wicked grin grow. Oh, how he loved to tease and play. There was nothing better than watching another person squirm uncomfortably.
“I don’t bite, Kerr.” He said and once he’d successfully managed to force the other boy up against the pool wall he let the innocent façade slip.
Alfie had positioned himself before Graham so that he had little chance of escape. His hands were pressed flat against the wall, his arms on either side of Graham and his body was in such close proximity that he could literally feel heat radiating off of the Hufflepuff beneath the water. “Ok, that was a lie..” Alfie loved to bite and feeling Grahams warm breath tickling his face made it hard not to nip at the other boys lips. Instead, because Alfie was going to take this game at a nice, slow and torturous pace, he closed the small space between their lips with a kiss.

The blonde didn't make a conscious decision to move backwards, it just came naturally when Alfie advanced on him. He wasn't particularly scared, moreso worried about what the other could do. If it came down to a physical fight, he was fairly sure that he could take the Slytherin, after all, he had quite enough experience with fighting dirty. The Slytherin didn't have his wand on him, so unless he was skilled in wandless magic, it wouldn't end up being a wizard fight, which was probably for the best.
Gray wasn't a great wizard, in fact, he counted himself lucky to be in Hogwarts as it was. Sure, if he applied himself he could be smart enough to graduate with a fair amount of NEWTs, but it was mostly theoretical magic that he was good at. When it came to proper magic, transfiguring things or performing charms, he wasn't too great at that. Though he had to admit, he'd practised a fair amount of hexes for situations like this.
"I don't bite, Kerr." He was lightly pushed against the wall and shivered, unable to hold back a slight sound that didn't come across as protesting as he would have liked. Damn it. The last thing he needed was for Alfie to think that he got a crush on him. "Ok, that was a lie..” For a second or so, Gray was thinking vague thoughts that played around that last sentence, thinking how relieved he was that Alfie did bite and how ridiculous that thought was.
And then he was kissed, and all thoughts pretty much vanished from his mind. This was...different from Mickeys kiss, who had pretty much tried to shut him up and prove a point. The blonde wasn't quite sure what kind of kiss this was supposed to be, but he quickly realised one thing. It was nice. And, for some reason, at some point during his thought process, he had started to kiss back.

Alfie couldn’t help but smile against Grahams lips when the Hufflepuff returned his kiss, wary at first but in full swing within seconds.
Graham Kerr wasn’t all that bad a kisser. Which wasn’t too much of a surprise to Alfie because the boy had kissable looking lips. The kiss was neither soft or tender. It was hard, hot and demanding. The kind of kiss that left a person gasping for breath through swollen, bruised lips.
When Alfie felt that breathing through his nose wasn’t enough, he broke their kiss. His lips ached in a way that had him wanting to kiss Graham again, he resisted the urge though, opting for catching more breath instead.
A small smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth when Alfie had moved back his head so that he could take in Grahams state. The Hufflepuffs lips were kiss-swollen and his cheeks were a light pink, the heat of the water most probably added to that.
“Not bad, Kerr.” Alfie said quietly, winking at the other boy whilst licking his lower lip absently. The taste of Grahams lips still lingered.
"You could do with a bit of work though." Alfie half smirked here, unconcerned by how Graham might react to his statement. It wasn't much of an insult. Alfie was just being honest. Graham was a good kisser but with a bit of practice he could be brilliant.

Graham smiled vaguely at that statement, deciding not to tell Alfie that this had been his first kiss, of sorts. Mickey hardly counted, as that was just a one-sided kiss, but this...he'd definitely returned this kiss. Why? He had no idea, other than that it had been good and that he kinda wanted to do it again. And possibly again and again after that. He ran fingers through his hair, looking at the other blonde, who looked just as flustered as he imagined himself to be.
"You offering to teach me, Chase?" His voice was light, a little playful even, the blonde cocking his head to look at his schoolmate. He could definitely get used to that idea, after all, the Slytherin was handsome and a delightfully good kisser. There were worse things than being snogged into oblivion by someone as experienced as Alfie Chase. And if it made him a better kisser...well that was just an added bonus.
Leaning one hip against the side of the pool, he reached out to brush a strand of hair from his face, before sliding his hand down to Alfie's hip, pulling him closer. "It certainly beats talking to you" The Hufflepuff remarked teasingly, accidentally bumping his nose against Alfie's before tilting his head just enough to kiss him again.

Post by Mickey McKey on Sept 6, 2009 21:48:27 GMT 1
Mickey was in the mood for a good swim. Heavens knew he'd had a lot on his mind recently, what with all the work he was being set, and evidently neglecting to do judging by the amount of detentions he'd ALREADY gained. Then, there was his home situation, which was better off not bringing up, even in his mind, and finally there was Graham Kerr. The blonde boy wished he could have liked a more practical person - as in, someone who was actually gay, wasn't in his house or his quidditch captain, and didn't hate his guts. As it was, his mind hated him, and wouldn't let him forget the older boy until he'd got him. In short, Mickey was doomed to a life of celebacy until he'd left the school. Or at least, until the other left. That was still two years away, and Mickey thought he might go crazy by that time.
Swimming would surely relax him. It often did. Though the young boy wasn't much of a sporty, active person, since their quidditch team had been granted access to the Prefect's bathroom by their oh-so-caring captain, he'd taken to it rather than his old hobbies, simply because it was more practical for him. That was where he was heading, to the bathroom, pretty certain that no one else would be there. He'd already done this several times this year anyway, and every time, it'd been empty. Why would this time be different?
Reaching his destination, he gave the password and opened the door. Or rather, tried to. Apparently, his limbs were tired, because the heavy door proved much more difficult than normal. Mickey finally managed to shove it open, but he'd made a lot of noise in doing it. Perhaps he shouldn't be swimming today, if he was this tired, but a bath would have the same affect. All thoughts of either of these things were pushed from his mind posthaste when his eyes fell on the scene in front of him.
Everything seemed to take forever, but he really was only standing there for a maximum of three minutes. The first two of those were spent staring, mouth ajar, at the two elder men, feeling sick to the stomach with what was going on (What the hell was going on? He didn't even know) and the third was taken up by an utterance of "Oh...fuck." and the business of getting out of there as quickly as he could. The blonde slammed the door shut, remained there for just a few seconds as his mind tried to work out what the Earth he'd just seen, then stormed off, thoroughly pissed at the world for doing this to him.

Alfie quirked an eyebrow at Graham’s question. The idea of being a teacher of sorts both amused and intrigued him. Alfie did like to be in charge of a situation after all. He liked to be in control. Teaching Kerr could prove to be fun. Kerr wasn’t a bad kisser after all
The thought of teaching Kerr however didn’t appeal to him all that much. After all he didn’t particularly like the Hufflepuff. He just had lips that
Alfie had been surprised when Graham initiated their second kiss. He returned it still, nipping playfully at his lips rather than kissing him full on. When he had heard the door open he wondered vaguely if Kerr had heard it too. Alfie was sure he hadn’t because they were still kissing and Kerr, who Alfie knew was still very much in the closet, hadn’t pushed him away out of fear of being caught out. Alfie grinned against the other boys lips, and deepened their kiss in an attempt to keep the other from noticing that there was someone else entering the room.
Alfie didn’t care that Graham wouldn’t want to be caught out or that someone was about to walk in on two half naked boys snogging in the pool, oblivious to their surroundings. He hoped it was someone who would cause a commotion - yes he could be a drama whore. But only when he wanted to be kept entertained. Life at the school was fucking boring without a bit of fun and drama.
Alfie found himself growing impatient when the third person didn’t make any sound and so he broke off the kiss to see if they were still here or not. Half a grin cut across his face when he saw another boy hurrying from the room. Though he did feel a pang of disappointment.
‘Boring.’

Graham hadn't heard the door opening until Alfie broke the kiss and looked in the direction of the door. He whirled around just in time to see a familiar blonde standing there, eyes wide and lips parted, before he ran out of the door. Alfie's word barely registered, his own heartbeat suddenly hammering too loudly in his ears. Fuck. Out of everyone in the school, of course it had to be Mickey McKey who caught him snogging a bloke. He was so screwed now. By the time he'd get back to the Commons, everyone undoubtedly already knew that he was gay.
"Well that's just brilliant, innit?" He muttered to himself more than the other blonde, turning back to face Alfie with a suspicious look on his face. Was that why the Slytherin had suddenly returned his kiss with so much passion? Because he knew that they'd been watched? "I'm screwed now. That kid hates me..." Long fingers ran through his own hair, slicking it back down while he rubbed at his arm with his free hand. He wasn't quite sure what to do now, whether to stay here and get back to what they'd been doing or run after Mickey and hopefully do some damage control. Either way, he didn't think he'd get what he wanted anyway.
