Flash the riches? Graham was absolutely baffled at that one, staring up at Mickey for a good few seconds before registering that huh, the other boy was probably in trouble. Even if it served him right, it didn't look like fun what the ...tree...plant...thing was doing to him. It was severely roughing him up, almost as if it were trying to smack something out of him, which couldn't be all that pleasant. Taking out his wand, he needed a moment to remember the right charm, and then another minute or so for the thing to stop wriggling so he could aim a shot and not hit Mickey instead.
As the blonde dropped to the floor, he shook his head at him, sending another hex at the tree for good measure, hoping it would leave the two of them alone for now. "What the actual fuck? Out of all the things you've said tonight, that's got to be the most ridiculous thing" Not even the fact that he was pretty, but the idea that he was rich?! This kid seriously had it backwards, and if Gray hadn't just seen him get manhandled by a tree, he would have bet that it had happened earlier in the day, and that that was why he was speaking nonsense.

Ouch. Mickey didn't know what he'd done to upset the tree, but he hoped it had a damn good reason for doing that to him, like if he'd trampled it's children or something as bad as that. It'd felt like the damn plant had been trying to tear his limbs out, and had slammed him about a bit, you know, just for good measure. The younger boy had thought that Graham wasn't going to bother helping him out - He sure took his time doing it, at the very least.
With a thud and a loud grunt, Mickey hit the floor, and lay there for a few moments to recover from the shock (and the aching of his brutal treatment). Eventually, he pushed himself to his feet, shaking quite drastically, more to see whether he could stand than anything else. There didn't seem to be anything drastically wrong with him, that was good. Though, if Graham had taken a little longer, he doubted that would have been the situation. And now the elder was annoyed again.
The smaller boy gave the other a look as if he'd just sprouted two more heads. Seriously, what? "Oh I'm sorry, did I get it wrong?" He said, as he dusted himself off and moved back to his housemate before the tree. "In case you didn't notice, I just got battered by a fucking tree. And you're complaining because I made a mistake?" Mickey may have been a bit more polite about this, had his body not felt like it'd just been stampeded by a whole herd of hippogriffs. But right now, he was bruised and cut, his clothes were torn and he was in no mood for this. "Shit, man. You waited long enough to do anything, didn't you? What, was you waiting for it to start tearing me up before you made your move or something?"

Gray had simply had enough. It was just. That boy. Suddenly, he felt sorry for saving his ass, and wished that the tree had hurt him a little bit further. Then again, that was nothing he couldn't fix, and with a frustrated groan he lunged himself at the boy, shoving him against a tree. "Can you just shut the fuck up for one damn second here? It's annoying enough that I have to be here because YOU landed us in detention, but I have to listen to your constant YAPPING. Just shut up, do your job and get the FUCK out of here so I don't have to see your damn FACE again."
His fingers were twisted in the boys shirt, the blonde up and in his face, body almost pressed up against Mickeys. Gray wasn't even aware of how intimidating it could possibly be. He'd just had it, and he wanted the other to leave him the hell alone so they could both go back to the castle, head to bed, and forget about this stupid day. The boy would really do him a favor if he just kept quiet and did as they were meant to do. If he didn't...well Gray wasn't sure he'd keep himself from hitting him.

For the second time that night, Mickey's brain screamed 'ho shit' at him. He suspected that he'd gone too far this time, considering that the boy had now pinned him against a tree and looked like he was about to punch him, or headbutt him, or generally kick the crap out of him if he even so much as breathed. He couldn't breathe right now, though - Out of fear, he'd gasped when the man grabbed him, and now it was stuck in his throat, so he couldn't have spoken even if he'd wanted to. Damn, Graham was scary when he wanted to be. As if his height wasn't imposing enough. Mickey considered that he could probably make a living out of doing this, making people so scared they'd willingly hand over their money.
And yet, through all his fear, the small blonde couldn't get over how incredibly close the older male was. Even if he was angry, he was still so very, very pretty. And he smelled amazing. God, it was lucky for both of them that Graham wasn't pressing himself againt Mickey, or he might have actually fainted. Mind thoroughly overloaded by the abuse of his senses, the younger boy took in a shuddering breath, and did something he'd probably regret very soon - He closed the gap and pressed his lips against Gray's

For a few seconds, maybe more, maybe less, Graham was too much in shock to do anything but stand there, feeling the others soft lips on his own. It was...an odd sensation, how suddenly his anger seemed to evaporate, how part of him wanted to push back, hold the other against the tree with his body. The moment he realised what his body wanted, a shiver went down his spine, and he curled his fingers into a fist, slamming it into the tree only inches away from Mickeys head.
Pulling back, the blonde brushed a hand over his lips, trying to ignore the fact that they were tingling from such a seemingly innocent kiss. It was his first, but that was need-to-know only, and Mickey definitely didn't need to know this. "You're hopeless" It was said hoarsely, and he could only hope that the smaller blonde took it as a sign of frustration. As it were, his anger had melted away somewhat, leaving him a shaking and confused mess.
They should go back. Now. Despite the fact that their stupid detention wasn't finished yet. Gray didn't think he could last for another hour in the company of this boy, so he just grabbed him by his upper arm, dragging him back to the edge of the forest. "This detention is over. I don't care what the Professor says." I'd rather spend a week in detention without you than one more hour in your company.
