Watching the blonde in front of him, it would have been hard for Oliver to supress a smile even if he was feeling at his best. In his current state, he didn't even try to hold it back, and simply let his face spread into an amused grin. Danny was just so incredibly camp in that moment, he wouldn't have been surprised if he'd just burst into glitter and disco light and magically transformed in to a girl. It suited him, though, and it was strangely rather adorable... and attractive. In the brunette's eyes at least. He didn't like that thought one bit, but he was far too preoccupied feeling sorry for himself to be annoyed by it.
His smile eventually faded, and Oliver went back to chewing on his lip, though he couldn't help but look at Danny now, and he didn't have the willpower to do any differently. The names still made him feel somewhat awkward, but he was sort of getting used to it by now. Besides, the Hufflepuff was being far too sweet for him to complain about any of it. He looked down with a semi-shocked expression when the blonde cleaned his robes (not particularly well, but it was good enough to him), then looked back up at the man. It was strange to think that a while ago, Danny really hated him. Or, at the very least, had a strong dislike for him. Now he was looking after him and cleaning him up, when he had the option of just walking off on him. The Ravenclaw still wasn't entirely sure why the boy hadn't done exactly that, but he was grateful that he hadn't. Oliver had no idea how to thank him without using words, but he had an urge to hug the blonde boy. As usual, his limbs worked before his brain did, and before he's had the chance to stop himself, he'd pushed himself to his feet and wrapped his arms around his classmate. ((lame sleepy post, sorry mama xD))

Danny blinked, suddenly feeling the others limbs wrapped around him. That was...well, interesting for one. He didn't quite understand where it was coming from, but supposed it was some form of unspoken thank you. Biting his lip, he carefully patted the others shoulder, feeling just how thin he was underneath his robes. It wasn't like the blonde to keep his thoughts to himself, especially when he was rather shocked by what he felt.
"Oli" It was really not his intention to give him a nickname, but he was stuttering, falling over his words, and Oliver was a shitty long name to begin with. "You ought to eat. I feel like I'm going to break you." And yeah, okay, he had no boundaries when it came to people. When they were his friends, he said anything and everything that came to mind, regardless of whether it was acceptable or not. That was just Danny Bailey. He was there and in your face, but at the same time he was kind and sweet and one of the most loyal people anyone ever met.
The blonde was unwilling to really pull away from him, but he didn't want to push the boundaries of..whatever was going on between them, and slowly peeled himself away from the Ravenclaw, giving him a sweet smile in consolation.

To his own surprise, Oliver found that he didn't want to let the blonde boy go, not even in the slightest. He didn't even want to loosen his grip, which in fairness wasn't that tight to begin with. Apparently, when you didn't eat much, you became very weak. But it just felt so right, holding Danny to him like that, even if it was slightly awkwardly right now. It was as if he was just meant to be there, in the Ravenclaw's life, just like that. God, he hadn't felt that right since...
The smaller boy pulled away from him just as that realisation hit him, and his eyes widened as he stared at the blonde with a slightly shocked, slightly panicked expression. Oliver hadn't felt like that since he was fifteen, since he lived in Canada... Since his best friend died. Well, crap. He knew what that feeling was, but he shouldn't be feeling it. He wasn't gay, he couldn't be. It wasn't right, not for him, it just caused trouble...
He couldn't do this, couldn't be here. Stumbling slightly, he backed away from the blonde a few steps before hitting the table, legs crumpling as they did, leaving him sitting. As much as he didn't want to leave the boy to deal with this on his own, Oliver really couldn't be in this room with Danny right now. His mind was doing all kinds of weird things to him, making him feel even worse than he already did and think things he really didn't want to think, and he really, really needed to get out. With a small, uneasy smile in the Hufflepuff's direction, he pushed himself to his feet and practically ran from the room. He'd have to do some serious chain smoking to recover from this in one piece.
